Junior Honor Choir
Event Location: Rapid City, South Dakota
Concert Venue: Performing Arts Center of Rapid City
South Dakota Junior Honor Choir 2023 will take place in Rapid City on January 20-21, 2023. The event is open for auditions to any current choir singer in grades 7-9 whose director is a member of SD-ACDA. Auditions will be held at the start of the 2022-23 school year. The audition window will be open from early September through the first week of October. The audition consists of singing a scale, America, and a short passage of a selection from one repertoire selection. Details of that repertoire will be determined over the summer. Auditions are recorded by the teacher and uploaded to a portal for the judges.

-Nov. 11th: Results posted online
-Nov. 28th: Online registration completed
